The Ammonia Safety and Training Institute (ASTI) is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 tax exempt organization dedicated to “preventing ammonia emergencies or stopping them small”. Our training focus is on industry, public safety and the government, which we consider to be the “Tripod”. ASTI works closely with IIAR to deliver Safety Day training throughout the U.S., Latin America, Canada, and Australia. See our website at www.ammonia-safety.com for more details. The Safety Days bring industry, government and fire service together to learn about hot to prevent, mitigate, and prepare for emergency events. Our strategy is to de-mystify ammonia’s hazards, risks, and threats and to promote the One Plan emergency response logic for dealing with ammonia emergencies.
